Gas hose is a kind of transition joint used to connect gas equipment (such as gas stove, water heater, etc.) and gas pipeline. It is usually used to solve the connection problem caused by different interface specifications or limited installation space.
Structure and design features
Gas hose couplings typically feature "right-angle or straight-through designs" to accommodate various installation environments. Right-angle couplings are suitable for gas valves that are close to walls or countertops, preventing excessive bending of the hose. Made of metal, some high-end couplings use a metal structure that is heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and prevents damage from rodents. The hose contains a metal layer (such as stainless steel corrugated tubing) when used with the coupling, significantly enhancing safety and extending its service life.
Installation precautions:
Avoid too tight or too loose: The force should be moderate when fixing, too tight may lead to the rupture of the hose, too loose is easy to leak air.
Periodic inspection: Check whether the connection between the coupling and the hose is loose, and whether the sealing ring is aging.
Compliance: Ensure that the connectors comply with local gas safety standards and avoid using non-standard products.
